If you can have them available that would be great as you will be able to completely join in the fun!<\/p>\n<p>Looking forward!<\/p>\n<p><em>Aliza, Esti &amp; Robin<\/em><\/p>\n<h5><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Ingredients for\u00a0Round\u00a0Challah Recipe<\/span><\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>2 tablespoons yeast<br \/>\n7 large eggs (plus 1 for egg wash)<br \/>\n2 cups sugar (plus 1 T for yeast)<br \/>\n1 \u00bd cup oil<br \/>\n7 teaspoons salt<br \/>\n5 pounds bread flour (preferably King Arthur brand)<br \/>\nOptional: Cinnamon\/sugar mix and\/or Chocolate chips<\/p>\n<p><strong>****We will\u00a0only\u00a0be demonstrating\u00a0round challah braiding techniques so please have your dough already made with your favorite recipe or with my favorite one\u00a0<\/strong><strong>below<\/strong><strong>!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<h5><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Ingredients for Chocolate Pomegranate Bark<\/span><\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Dark Chocolate chips (optional: white chips for drizzling)<br \/>\nOrange rind (comes in a spice bottle)<br \/>\nPomegranate seeds<br \/>\nOptional toppings: sesame seeds, Oreo crunch, slivered almonds, crushed peppermint candy<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Ingredients for Infused Honey\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>1\u00a0Cup\u00a0Honey<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">&#8211; Lemon Honey<\/span><br \/>\n1 tablespoon grated lemon peel<br \/>\n2\u00a0fresh slices lemons, juice and tossed in (optional)<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">&#8211; Cinnamon Honey<\/span><br \/>\n1\u00a0pinch ground cinnamon (optional)<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">&#8211; Ginger Honey<\/span><br \/>\n1\u00a0tablespoon finely chopped gingerroot<br \/>\n1\u00a0pinch ground ginger (optional)<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">&#8211; Apple Cider Vinegar Honey<\/span><br \/>\n2 -3\u00a0tablespoons apple cider vinegar<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">My favorite Cinnamon\/Chocolate Chip Challah<\/span><\/strong><\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em><u>Ingredients<\/u><\/em>:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00bd cup lukewarm water<\/p>\n<p>2 tablespoons yeast<\/p>\n<p>1 tablespoon sugar<\/p>\n<p>7 large eggs<\/p>\n<p>2 cups sugar<\/p>\n<p>1 \u00bd cup oil<\/p>\n<p>7 teaspoons salt<\/p>\n<p>4 cups boiling water<\/p>\n<p>5 pounds bread flour (I like using King Arthur brand)<\/p>\n<p>Egg wash \u2013 beaten egg and a little water<\/p>\n<p><em>Optional: Cinnamon\/sugar mix and\/or Chocolate chips<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em><u>Instructions:<\/u><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>In a medium bowl mix lukewarm water, yeast &amp; sugar and stir gently.\u00a0 Let bowl sit in a warm place for about 5-10 minutes while you prepare other ingredients.\u00a0 Yeast should bubble and thicken.<\/li>\n<li>In a medium bowl beat eggs slightly.<\/li>\n<li>In a very large bowl mix sugar, oil, salt, and boiling water.<\/li>\n<li>Add eggs to yeast mixture and mix.\u00a0 Add egg\/yeast mixture to ingredients in large bowl and mix.\u00a0 Slowly add bread flour to large bowl too.\u00a0 Mix\/knead until all is combined.<\/li>\n<li>Cover and let the dough sit in the bowl until it doubles in size \u2013 about 2-3 hours.<\/li>\n<li>Do\u00a0the mitzvah of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chabad.org\/theJewishWoman\/article_cdo\/aid\/363323\/jewish\/Challah-a-Step-by-Step-Guide.htm\"><em>hafrashas challah <\/em><\/a>(Complete info HERE) .<\/li>\n<li>Shape the remaining dough into loaves, top with egg wash and optional cinnamon\/sugar or chocolate chips.\u00a0(I usually do 1 teaspoon cinnamon to 6 teaspoons sugar which covers 2 challahs)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Should make 6-7 loaves.\u00a0 Bake at 350 degrees for about 35 minutes.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content --><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Thank you for joining us!\u00a0\u00a0The Zoom link is https:\/\/us02web.zoom.us\/j\/88297251657?pwd=aHh3c0plSi94Y2VqOEh4d3UySGsyQT09 Here are the ingredients we will be using for the food demo.
