The scholars.<br \/>\n\u2026 It has a lot to say to each and every one of us.<br \/>\nAbout our attitudes. Our priorities. And our responsibilities.<br \/>\nSuppose I\u2019m a dentist. And someone asks me how I spend my day.<br \/>\nI could say: \u2018I take x-rays. Drill teeth. And fill them.\u2019<br \/>\n\u2026 And that may be true. But there\u2019s another way of looking at it:<br \/>\nSomething like: \u2018I help people feel better about themselves.<br \/>\nHelp them enjoy their food. She can\u2019t pay for her medical care.<br \/>\n\u2026 And I didn\u2019t want her to think that I was treating her any differently than my other patients.\u201d<\/p>\n<h4>THOUGHT OF THE WEEK<\/h4>\n<p>\u201cA number of years ago, I prayed at the Western Wall \u2026 I thought that my prayer was pretty good.<br \/>\nThen I saw a blind man being led to the Wall. I watched as he touched the rippled stone with his<br \/>\nhands \u2026 He gently bestowed a kiss upon the Wall and began his prayer.<br \/>\nIt was not a psalm, not a hymn, and not anything of the established liturgy. It was an intimate<br \/>\ncommunication.<br \/>\nI watched and listened as he spoke informally to G-d, relating things that had happened, and asking<br \/>\nG-d to bestow true peace upon mankind.<br \/>\nAt one point he stopped abruptly and said: \u201cOh, I am sorry.
